'We should be winning that 4-0, that’s my opinion.' Opposition boss on Fleetwood Town's draw with Chesterfield
FLEETWOOD Town boss Matt Lawlor says his side should have sent Chesterfield home empty-handed from today’s clash at Highbury.
The side which began the day placed 16th in League Two had good spells but couldn’t build upon a 67th minute opener from Ched Evans.

Play-off chasers Chesterfield played the last half-hour with ten men after a red card for Kyle McFadzean and then grabbed a point late on through Ryan Stirk in a 1-1 draw.
“I’m sick of it,” said Lawlor. “We’ve been largely dominant again today. First half was pretty even but we had unbelievable chances. Second half we controlled the game and created more big opportunities.
“We should be winning that 4-0, that’s my opinion. I won’t be changing that. When you’re creating chances like we are then you’ve got to be ruthless in the moment and at the minute we’re not.
"If we take our chances, it’s two, three, four, and the game’s done.”
Stirk’s goal was his first in 40 appearances for the Spireites since joining from Walsall last summer.
It was also an important one given that nearest chasers Grimsby and Barnet both won.
Two points behind, the eighth-placed Mariners play their game in hand away to automatic promotion contenders Cambridge on Tuesday.
"I think Grimsby have to go and win that one,” said Stirk. “Everyone’s fighting but we’ve got to focus on ourselves.
"We’re all disappointed because we thought we could have won this game with 11 men on the pitch. The reality is we didn’t so we’ve got to take a point and move on again quickly.
“We’ve got whole week to prepare for Crewe next Saturday.”
