Former restaurant and pub in Derbyshire town set for new lease of life after two months of closure
A former restaurant and pub in a Derbyshire town is set for a new lease of life - with plans underway to reopen the venue.
A restaurant and pub that has sat empty for two months in Ripley will open its doors once again - with new owners taking the venue on.
Butterley Park, formerly known as the Butterley Park Cookhouse + Pub, is set to reopen as part of Common Table Group’s growing collection of restaurants.
The venue, which sits on the site of the Ripley Premier Inn along Nottingham Road, had closed its doors on September 3.
Premier Inn owner Whitbread made the decision to shut down every Cookhouse + Pub restaurant across the country - along with all of their Beefeater and Brewers Fayre locations.
Following a period of closure, the venue will welcome guests back with all-day dining. It will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner - alongside a new barista coffee offering from Rodeo Coffee.
Thomas Anderson, Founder of Common Table Group, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing these restaurants back to life. They each hold a special place in their local communities and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests through the doors again very soon.
“Our aim is to create welcoming places where people can come together, enjoy great food and drink, and feel part of their local community.”
Further information, including confirmed reopening dates and details of any special offers, will be announced online.
