Chesterfield 90s nightlife memories return for Christmas daytime reunion
“People absolutely loved reliving those nights out and hearing the music that defined a generation.”
For anyone whose weekends once revolved around the Bradbury Club, Xanadu or Zanzibar, a Chesterfield Christmas party is offering a chance to revisit the music of those nights and still be home at a sensible hour.

The Daytime 90s Reunion Christmas Party returns to Real Time Live, on Marsden Street, on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 3pm to 7pm. Previous events have sold out well in advance.
The parties have brought together people who remember Chesterfield’s 1990s club scene, with earlier playlists mixing Oasis and Blur with Fatboy Slim, the Spice Girls and Take That.
Back then, deciding where to go next was part of a night out. Now, getting old friends in the same room can be the bigger challenge. The reunion offers a reason to round up the people who shared those dancefloors and still know the words to the same songs.
The Christmas edition is also being promoted as an option for a staff social, giving colleagues a ready-made afternoon out without having to arrange a private party. Its 7pm finish leaves time for food afterwards or an early journey home.
For those whose memories include a late taxi queue and a Sunday lost to a hangover, the earlier finish is part of the appeal. There is no need to stay out into the small hours to hear the songs they used to dance to.
The organisers said: “People absolutely loved reliving those nights out and hearing the music that defined a generation.”
The event is for over-18s. For tickets and further information, visit www.realtimelive.co.uk or find the Daytime 90s Reunion Christmas Party event on Facebook.
