Wait Until Dark kicks off the Spring Play Season in Chesterfield in thrilling style
Wait Until Dark, a chilling creation by Frederick Knott, who penned the classic Dial M For Murder, is on at the Pomegranate Theatre until Saturday, January 25.
This thriller, presented by Tabs Productions, features a sinister conman hunting for a mysterious doll who calls at the home of a husband and his blind wife. With the husband’s potential implication in a murder, the wife suspects that the doll could be key to proving that he’s innocent or guilty.

Hide AdThe mood lightens next week with a production of Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy Time and Time Again about a know-it-all boss, a straying fiancee and a garden gnome. Catch Rumpus Theatre Company’s show from January 28 to February 3.
Rumpus are back the following week, this time presenting comedy-thriller The 39 Steps, which runs from February 4 to 8. This West End Olivier Award winner is based on Alfred Hitchcock’s film.
A festive atmosphere runs through the final offering of the season. Tabs Productions present It's A Wonderful Life, based on the much-loved 1946 film which tells the tale of everyone enjoying Christmas apart from George Bailey who wishes he’d never been born. Can anything change George’s mind and put him in the Christmas spirit? Find out when the show hits the stage at the Pomegranate from February 11 to 15.
