First-look photos of Derbyshire teenager Frank Raven in the final of The Voice UK
Pictures show McFly duo accompanying finalist on guitar and vocals
Derbyshire teenager Frank Raven will compete against the nation’s top three singers in the final of telly’s The Voice UK.
Former New Mills School student Frank is the youngest among four finalists bidding to be crowned champion in the ITV show which will be broadcast tomorrow (Saturday, October 31).
At the time of filming, Frank was only 17 years old. He is facing Cate McHugh, who represents Team Tom, Monique Nicholson-Porter representing Team Kelly and Nana representing Team will.i.am.
Frank is representing Team Tom and Danny who are best known as members of McFly. Photos released prior to the pre-recorded showdown include one of Frank, flanked by Tom and guitar on one side, and Danny singing on the other side. Another photo shows Frank playing piano.
Tom and Danny mentored last year’s winner, AVA . They have served The Voice UK for two series and the 2026 one is their last. Rapper Aitch will be filling their position in the 15th series.
Sir Tom Jones is also departing The Voice UK, after mentoring hopefuls for 13 of the 14 series. The legendary superstar has had three winners on the programme - Leanne Mitchell (2012), Ruti Olajugbabgbe (2018 and Anthonia Edwards (2022). Sir Tom will be replaced by Cheryl in the next series.
