Derbyshire pub and restaurant to re-open under new ownership

“Our aim is to create welcoming places where people can come together, enjoy great food and drink, and feel part of their local community.”

Butterley Park, formerly known as Butterley Park Cookhouse + Pub, is set to reopen its doors under new ownership as part of Common Table Group’s growing collection of restaurants.

The pub, along 13 other Cookhouse + Pub venues across the country, closed earlier this year, as part of Whitbread’s decision to shut all of its standalone branded restaurants.

Common Table said the relaunched Ripley venue will welcome guests back with all-day dining, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside a new barista coffee offering from Rodeo Coffee.

Thomas Anderson, Founder of Common Table Group, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing these restaurants back to life. They each hold a special place in their local communities, and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests through the doors again very soon. Our aim is to create welcoming places where people can come together, enjoy great food and drink, and feel part of their local community.”

Common Table has yet to announce the re-opening date of the Butterley Park
