This is when popular Chesterfield town centre bank will close its doors
A popular bank branch at Chesterfield town centre is set to close its doors later this year.
Lloyds Bank has confirmed that their Chesterfield site is set for closure in just a few months.
The popular branch, located at Rose Hill in the Chesterfield town centre, will welcome its last customers on October 22.
This comes after Lloyds Banking Group announced it would close 79 of its Lloyds and Halifax bank sites in the next few months.
The banking group said that most of the branches, which are affected by closures, are within a mile away of another Lloyds Group bank – with Halifax Chesterfield at Knifesmithgate located just a 150 feet away from the closing Lloyds Bank.
