Police slam ‘disgusting’ behaviour of speeding Chesterfield driver with babies on the back seat

Police have slammed the behaviour of a Chesterfield driver as ‘disgusting’ after they were caught speeding, with two babies on passenger laps in the back seat.

Officers pulled over the driver of the 5 Series BMW on Whitecotes Lane, Chesterfield, and issued a speeding ticket – and a referal to social services.

They described the incident as ‘disgusting behaviour on Whitecotes Lane’

Members of the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit also stopped an Ibiza which was doing 57mph on the same road, nearly double the speed limit.
