Jay Rosa stuns Chesterfield FC Crowd with Mental Health message

At the Chesterfield vs Barnet fixture on Saturday, 13 December, Jay Rosa delivered a performance that continues to be the talk of the town. From the fanzone to the half-time show, his energy and charisma transformed the matchday into something unforgettable.
Before kick-off, Rosa amazed fans in the hospitality lounge with mind-blowing football freestyle skills and took part in an interview discussing his mental health mission, setting a meaningful tone for the day. He then moved to the fanzone, where he performed again, taught freestyle skills to young fans, and connected with supporters of all ages—creating a genuine sense of anticipation.
At half-time, Jay took centre stage with an energetic freestyle performance that drew loud cheers and applause from the crowd. After the match, he was also spotted showcasing his skills and enjoying a two‑touch kickabout with Chesterfield defender Adam Lewis, the club’s left‑back who moved to the Spireites in 2025 after spells at Liverpool and Morecambe.
Since launching his EFL Stadium Tour in January 2023, Rosa has performed at more than 70 stadiums, including iconic venues such as Goodison Park, Bramall Lane, and the Stadium of Light. Hundreds of thousands of spectators have enjoyed his shows, which have garnered praise from fans, media, and club officials nationwide.
Rosa’s tour is about more than entertainment. Partnering with Mind Charity, he uses his platform to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives.
“This tour isn’t just about football,” Rosa explains. “It’s about connection, support, and reminding people they’re not alone.”
