Derbyshire builders' £10,000 pot up for grabs
“The Community Fund is a fantastic initiative which provides us with the platform to be able to support groups and projects in areas in which we build new homes.”
Community groups and projects in need of financial support are being urged to apply for a share of a national housebuilder’s initiative.

Miller Homes is welcoming applications from potential recipients to its Community Fund scheme which runs twice annually, with groups selected to earn between £250 and £2,000 of the developer’s pot.
Applications for the latest round of Miller Homes’ fund will close on Wednesday, 28 October. Community groups which focus on sport, education, wellbeing and the environment are the primary recipients of the scheme, though anyone can apply directly through the housing firm’s website.
Miller Homes’ 11 trading regions, including its Derbyshire-based East Midlands region, all benefit from a £10,000 kitty to distribute via the Community Fund each year.
Tom Roberts, managing director of Miller Homes East Midlands, said: “The Community Fund is a fantastic initiative which provides us with the platform to be able to support groups and projects in areas in which we build new homes.”
