Award-winning Matlock salon Aspire Creative celebrates relaunch ahead of sixth birthday

Multi award-winning Matlock salon Aspire Creative has unveiled the final phase of its transformation, celebrating with a relaunch party at the salon itself, as the business prepares to mark six successful years in the town.
The salon welcomed clients, friends, family and supporters to celebrate The Next Era - the official relaunch of its renovated Bank Road premises.
The evening marked another significant milestone for the hair, beauty and tanning destination, which has continued to grow and evolve since first opening its doors in Matlock in December 2020. Following its expansion from Matlock Green to much larger premises on Bank Road in May 2023, Aspire Creative has undergone a series of improvements, culminating in the completion of its latest renovations. Founded in December 2020 by business partners Cllr. Ashley Orwin, currently Mayor of Matlock, & Jamie Hadleigh, Aspire Creative opened during one of the most challenging periods for the hospitality & personal care industries. Its move to Bank Road in May 2023 represented a major investment in Matlock town centre, allowing the business to expand its team, introduce additional services & create a truly distinctive salon experience. Jamie Hadleigh, Co-owner and Creative Director of Aspire Creative, said: "Our clients are genuinely at the heart of everything we do. From those who first walked through our doors back in December 2020 to the new faces we welcome every single week, their loyalty, encouragement & support have allowed us to turn our ambitions into reality. For Co-owner & Salon Manager, Cllr. Ashley Orwin, who also serves as the Mayor of Matlock, the evening was an opportunity to reflect on the people who have helped shape Aspire Creative into the business it is today. From a team of just three when the business launched, Aspire Creative has grown into a thriving workplace of 13 talented individuals, each bringing their own expertise, creativity & personality to the salon.

"We've built something that goes far beyond a conventional workplace. We have an extraordinary team who genuinely care for one another, celebrate each other's successes, support each other through life's challenges & bring so much love, laughter & personality into the salon every single day.
"There's a real family bond here, & I think our clients feel that from the moment they walk through the door. It's something you simply cannot manufacture, & no amount of investment or renovation could ever replace it.
"Seeing our team enjoying themselves alongside so many of our wonderful clients on Saturday evening was quite emotional, actually. It was a reminder of just how far we've come together & how lucky we are to be surrounded by such brilliant people.
