Peak District Artisans showcase their creations for sale at art fair

Dozens or artists, designers and makers will be exhibiting their creations in the Peak District Artisans Autumn Art Fair.

The fair in the Whitworth Centre, Darley Dale, on October 15 and 16, is an ideal occasion for people to shop early for unique Christmas gifts – or treat themselves to beautiful handmade pieces.

This could be something for the home, stunning jewellery, or an exquisite artwork to hang on the wall.

The Peak District Artisans Autumn Fair also offers artists and artisans from the Derbyshire, Cheshire, and South Yorkshire region the opportunity to put their latest work under the spotlight.

A spokesperson for the group said: “The Autumn Fair gives people the chance to do some early Christmas shopping and find something really different to surprise a loved one with.

“In doing so, they will also demonstrate their support once again for the talented artists and craftspeople we have in the Peak District.”

The art fair will be open from 10am to 4pm. Free admission.
