Award-winning singer Marc Almond will be performing his biggest hits in concert in Derbyshire.

The former Soft Cell frontman has a show lined up at Buxton Opera House on Sunday, May 23, 2021, as part of his first tour in nearly two years.

Marc will sing songs from his last top 20 album, Chaos and a Dancing Star, which came out just before lockdown in March 2020, plus many favourites from his extensive catalogue.

He was presented with an Ivor Novello Inspiration Award in 2013 and an OBE in the 2018 New Year Honours for his services to arts and culture.Marc has sold more than 30 million records. both with Soft Cell and as a solo artist, including two number one singles – Tainted Love and Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart, the latter with Gene Pitney.
