The fourth-placed Glovers were beaten 3-0 at Harrogate Town last night and now have no wins in their last five in the National League.

Their misery was compounded when Myles Hippolyte – who scored against the Spireites at the Proact in December – was sent off and will miss Saturday’s match against John Pemberton’s men.

“It’s an awful performance, it’s the poorest performancem I’ve had since I’ve been here,” Sarll said.

“We don’t look like the same group of players at the moment.

“My biggest concern at the minute is how soft and toothless we seem to be around our boxes.

“It is a big concern because it is not a tactical or strategic issue.

“We’ve conceded five goals in two games and all five goals have been poor.

Football is a very game to win when you are that toothless in both penalty boxes.”

Yeovil were flying around the festive period where they went eight games unbeaten but they have not win a league game since January 1.

“It is a big indictment for me to come out and say those things about the same players who have shown a lot of good this year,” Sarll added.

“We are walking on very, very thin ice on how long we can lean on that form pre-Christmas.

“We need to look at ourselves long and hard in the mirror before we play Saturday.”
