Howler from goalkeeper Grant Smith. He gives the ball straight to Jude Arthurs who chips the ball into an empty net. 1-1.

Bromley counter down the right, a cross comes in, Alabi is waiting but Taylor just gets a nick on it with his head to take it away from him. Brilliant defending.

Tyson goes close, he shoots towards goal on his left boot and the ball cannons of Bush and goes behind for a corner.

Fan writer Ben reacts to Town goal

Get in! It’s taken until early on in the second half, but The Spireites do now have their goal! I said at the break that if you keep putting the pressure, the chances will come, and that really was the perfect illustration of that in action. Brilliant high pressing from Jack Clarke put the Bromley defender under pressure, and once he’d nicked the ball, the Aston Villa loanee showed brilliant composure to fire the ball home. Chesterfield have found their shooting boots at the perfect time, and if they can hold on from here, this could be a huge three points in the context of their season. Let’s hope that typically solid Spireites defence remains reliable to see this home.
