The hosts, two points better off than Chesterfield are in great form with four wins on the spin and won at the Technique Stadium just 10 days ago.

But James Rowe’s men should take confidence from their performance at Wrexham on Saturday into tonight’s clash at Hayes Lane.

Liam Norcliffe is at the game and will have all the build-up, team news, updates and reaction.

Dover Athletic to go part-time

Speaking to Kent Online, Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler, said: “We had a good meeting and we are certainly going to have to approach it a different way and go back to how they have approached it before really, being part-time. So we are going to have to go part-time, in a full-time league.

“There are two or three others that are still part-time, not many, but we are going to readjust.”

Spireites team news

We heard from Curtis Weston at yesterday’s pre-match presser so we were unable to get the latest team news but, as has been the case in the last couple of weeks, all eyes will be on whether Gavin Gunning (hamstring) and Curtis Weston (Achilles) are okay to start. Both are taking it game-by-game.

Jak McCourt is back in full training and he did travel with the squad to Wrexham but was not involved.

Other than that, as far as we know, James Rowe has a full squad to choose from apart from long-term absentees Haydn Hollis, Tom Denton and Akwasi Asante.

Good afternoon all.

Is this a must win or a must not lose?

Personally, I think it is more the latter, a draw tonight would not be the worst result and it would keep them in touching distance of the top seven.

I can see why people would say it is a must win but I don’t think we are quite at that stage of the season yet.

I do think Town need to win one of their next three, and on paper this one looks a bit ‘easier’ than Hartlepool away and Torquay at home. What they can’t do is afford to lose all three because that would give them a mountain to climb.

The Blues will be out for revenge after that defeat against tonight’s opponents 10 days ago at the Technique, and I think they will get at least a point.

If I was James Rowe I would be tempted to switch up the game plan and let Bromley have the ball and then try and pinch it off them for counters. I worry that if Chesterfield dominate possession that they won’t be able to break down a stubborn Ravens defence.

Let’s not forget that the Spireites are unbeaten in their last five away games, including four wins, so that shoul give them some confidence.

The Blues have not scored in the first-half of any of their last six matches so they could do with putting that right tonight.

My score prediction? Chesterfield to win 1-0.
