National League transfers: Hartlepool United sign five new players and Stockport County add another

The 2020/2021 National League season is scheduled to start on October 3 and here are the latest transfers to have taken place with two months to go:

Hartlepool United

Have announced five new signings.

Mark Shelton, Garry Liddle and Timi Odusina have all penned permanent deals following loan spells at Victoria Park, while former FC Halifax Town winger Josh MacDonald and ex-Morecambe striker Rhys Oates have also joined.

Stockport County

Former Oldham Athletic defender Jamie Stott has joined on a two-year deal.

Stott, 22, had a previous spell at Edgeley Park in 2018/19 when they won the National League North title and he was voted as the young player of the year.

Dagenham and Redbridge

Defender Callum Reynolds has signed after being released by Barnet.

Reynolds, 30, made 65 appearances for Barnet in the last two seasons. He was previously at Aldershot Town and Boreham Wood.

The Daggers have also signed winger George Saunders, 22, from Isthmian Premier League side Hornchurch and former Aldershot midfielder Dean Rance, 28.

Meanwhile, Bagasan Graham, Chike Kandi, Alex McQueen, Harold Odametey, Will Wood, Will Wright and Gabby Zakuani have all been released.

Boreham Wood

Have signed goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore on a two-year deal from Ebbsfleet United.

Ashmore, 30, was on loan at Boreham last season.

Aldershot Town

Midfielder Josh Rees has signed from Bromley.

The 26-year-old came through the Arsenal academy before moving to Nottingham Forest.

His previous clubs include Gillingham and Torquay United.
