Tyson, 37, who started the game after scoring a hat-trick against Ebbsfleet United, was substituted with 12 minutes to go with the Spireites losing 3-2.

Despite not scoring Tyson was a threat all night and came close a couple of times to finding the net.

“He was just struggling at the end,” Pemberton said.

“I would not have taken him off but he came over and said he was struggling so I do not know whether he has got a knock or physically he felt tired but I will have a look.”

He added: “He came off but he was a bit disappointed with his performance but that is him, he wants to do better.

“I think he is disappointed because he did not score.

“I think he is a good impact player as well but I wanted to start him.”

“He has been out of the team and he has supported his teammates brilliantly.

“I am really pleased for him because he deserves that goal, he has been working hard.”
