Guy Branston's tenure as caretaker boss of Chesterfield got off to a losing start today with a 1-0 defeat at Luton Town.

Although the Spireites gave a good account of themselves, particularly after the break, they were unable to grab a goal even when the Hatters went down to 10 men.
