Tom Poole’s fourth goal of the season plus Ben Townsend’s third secured Britannia a 2-0 victory over a battling Doe Lea outfit.

May 30th is the day when the title race will eventually be decided when George and Dragon take on in form New Whitt Social and Britannia go to Renishaw Miners Welfare for their final games of the campaign.

New Whitt Social followed up last weeks high scoring 5-4 win over Clowne Wanderers with an excellent 3-1 win over Renishaw Miners Welfare, Alex and Reece Shaw plus Lewis Warwick scored the games winning goals and whilst neither side can win the league they certainly have a part to play in who does.

Clowne Wanderers Reserves 8-2 drubbing of Midland leaves them needing just one point from their final three games, only Bolsover Town can catch them, to become HKL TWO champions and ominously they have only dropped two points out of a possible 27 to date. Brampton Victoria FCUTV have enjoyed a successful season and on Sunday a goal apiece from John Revell and Connor Nelson earned them a 2-1 win at Glapwell Gladiators whilst elsewhere Rangers and Brampton Moor Rovers drew 2-2.
