Delays expected on these north Derbyshire roads for works
Drivers are being warned to expect delays on busy roads across north Derbyshire.
Over the weekend of September 4 and 5 work will be carried out on the A617, A6135 and A616.
On Saturday, September 4 lanes will be closed between 6am-6pm on the A617 at Doe Lea.
While on Sunday, September 5 lanes will be shut on the A6135 / A616 at Junction 30 of the M1 at Barlborough between 4-11am.

Derbyshire County Council says the closures are needed so highways teams can carry out a delayed ‘spring clean’ of the dual carriageways.
The work includes cutting grass on the central reservations and at the sides of the roads, picking up litter, emptying the gullies and drains, fixing any potholes, and other maintenance work.
Over the weekend of July 24 and 25 there was congestion in Chesterfield when the A617 was closed between Heath and Chesterfield’s Horns Bridge Roundabout.
