This is when Chesterfield and Derbyshire's waste recycling centres will reopen
Council leaders have revealed when Derbyshire’s household waste recycling centres will reopen as coronavirus lockdown restrictions are eased.
Derbyshire County Council’s deputy leader, Councillor Simon Spencer, says the authority hopes to reopen tips on Monday, May 18.
Announcing the move, Coun Spencer thanked residents for their ‘patience and understanding’ while the centres have been closed.

He urged people to ‘please follow the rules’ when the centres are reopened with social distancing measures in place.
Previously, the authority said the Government needed ‘to make it clear that visiting a site is classed as an essential journey’ before the centres could be reopened to the public.
Recycling centres at Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, and Buttermilk Lane, Bolsover, as well as others across the county, were closed when lockdown measures were introduced in March.
Further details are expected to be released later today (Tuesday, May 12).
