Generous best friends raise over £600 for Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Six-year-old Isla Cardall and five-year-old Olivia Boden, both from Chesterfield, ran 5k round the town’s Queen's Park – while maintaining social distancing – and raised £618 for the hospital.

Isla’s mum Kirsten said: “They asked a couple of weeks ago if they could do something to help the NHS and came up with the idea of a run.

“I think it's really lovely that they’ve done such a thoughtful thing.”
