Lords Roofing and Sons Ltd will be doing up to 12 small repairs per day on December 12, December 13 and December 19.
Liam Anderson, owner of the business, said: “I’m doing this to help people over Christmas so they can have a special one this year and not worry too much about a roof problem they may have.

“All I ask is that people give what they can afford and put it in a sealed envelope on completion of the job – and the money will be split equally between my two chosen charities, Ashgate Hospicecare and Children with Cancer UK.
“Charities are really struggling at the moment and every little helps.
“A lot of people are also struggling with money – so hopefully with us doing these repairs, you’ll be able to save some cash and treat yourself, your kids or someone you know who’s struggling.”

Earlier this year, Lords Roofing and Sons Ltd made repairs at Ashgate Hospicecare for free.
The company instead asked for donations for the hospice, raising £400 at a time when many charities are struggling as a result of the pandemic.
A spokesperson for Ashgate Hospicecare said: “We are truly grateful to Liam and everyone who donated at this time when we have never needed your support more.

“Every single penny really does make a difference.”
Throughout this year, the business has also been donating money from every job to the NHS.
It is the third year running that Lords Roofing and Sons Ltd has been doing small repairs for free over Christmas.
