A crash along a busy route in Chesterfield saw a police car and a Vauxhall Insignia collide.

At 10.00pm on Wednesday, December 18, a collision occurred on a roundabout along St Augustine’s Road – which connects the busy route with Whitecotes Lane, Boythorpe Road and Harehill Road.

The crash involved a police car and a Vauxhall Insignia – with photos from the scene showing the vehicles blocking part of the roundabout.

A Derbyshire Police spokesperson added: “There were not believed to be any serious injuries.”
