Bus services connecting Chesterfield, Matlock and Sheffield to a popular family attraction have been temporarily suspended by Stagecoach.

Matlock Farm Park, located on Jaggers Lane near Matlock, has confirmed that Stagecoach has temporarily stopped its X17 service from calling at the park.

A spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, Stagecoach’s X17 diverted route to Matlock Farm Park has been temporarily suspended from today (Thursday, December 19), due to tree branches overhanging part of the new route on Wirestone Lane.

“We understand the council have been notified, so hopefully this amazing new bus route will return again in the New Year.

“We know this will come as a disappointment to those of you who can only visit us by bus, but we are hopeful this will be sorted out in the next few weeks.”
