Officers appeal to trace woman who was seen with blood on her face in Clay Cross

Police are urging the public to help them find a woman who was seen arguing with a man while there was blood on her face.

The force said they are concerned for her welfare and want to speak to her and the man she was with, after she was spotted with blood on her face in Kenning Street, Clay Cross yesterday (Sunday, July 11).

A member of the public called police at 9.25pm to report seeing a woman with blood on her face arguing with a white man who had black hair and a beard.

He wore a black and white coat.

The woman was described as white with red hair and wore a black top and jeans.

Officers urged witnesses or anyone with information to contact DC Gavin Hooton by calling 101 and quoting reference 1140 of July 11.
