Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after incident in Chesterfield
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Police said a man suffered a hand injury after a firearm was discharged inside a flat on Ormsby Road in the early hours of September 4.

Hide AdThe victim was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the incident and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Wednesday.
A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said on Thursday: “The man remains in custody and is being questioned.”

Hide AdAt the time of the incident, police said a man in his 30s arrived at Chesterfield Royal Hospital at 4.20am on September 4 with ‘serious’ injuries to his hand.
There was a large police presence on Ormsby Road as officers attempted to work out what had happened.
Chief Inspector Katie Andrews said at the time: “There is not believed to be any wider risk to the public.”
