Driver taken to hospital after three-car pile up in Derbyshire

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital yesterday after he was involved in a three-car pile up in Derbyshire.

Police received reports that a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Polo and a Fiat 500 had all been involved in a collision in Burton Road, Newhall, at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 13.

The Golf driver, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life changing or threatening according to the force.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries remain ongoing.
