Derbyshire woman offers cash reward for return of treasured rings

A woman is offering a cash reward for the return of two treasured rings which were stolen from a Derbyshire home.

The victim, a woman in her 60s, noticed the rings were missing from the house in the High Peak on March 28.

It is not known exactly when the rings were stolen.

One of the rings has a distinctive seven diamond flower design with six smaller stones set around a single larger one in the centre.

The other has a band of five diamonds.

The woman, who does not want to be identified, said she was putting up a cash reward in the hope the rings would be returned.

She added: “They meant a lot to me.

“They belonged to my grandmother then my mother and then they were passed on to me.

“I’m very upset they’ve been stolen.”

Police are investigating the crime.
