Passers-by had earlier dragged a woman and her dog to safety from her burning home. She was taken to hospital but discharged later that evening with minor injuries.

Police dismantled the grow after the initial fire was extinguished and properties were made safe.

Anyone with information about the cannabis grow is asked to contact Derbyshire police, quoting 20*644749.
