A wealth of content will be made available on the theatre’s website and will be shared across its social media sites.

Memory Box delves into Derby Theatre’s archive and looks back at some of its much-loved past produced shows, with the first one being Remembering Brassed Off, the most popular production from 2015. Content includes: show coverage trailers, audience memories, interesting and fun production facts, set model images, photo galleries, interviews with cast members and programme articles. As part of this feature, there will be new content through the broadcasting of actors who appeared in the show discussing and re-living their favourite memories of the production. Some of the actors actors will relive and record key scenes and snippets from the play. A new Memory Box past show will feature each week and even more, newer content will be added to each show as and when it becomes available.

Treasure Island – The Ship Will Sail Again includes content from Derby Theatre’ recently-cancelled BSL integrated and captioned production of the show, and includes: messages from the cast, in rehearsal video, rehearsal images gallery, teaser trailer, pirate games, World Theatre Day BSL messages and creative team interviews.

Family activities includes: creative exercises and drama games, for the whole family to try and enjoy; Aladdin drawing competition, Hansel & Gretel sing-a-longs and puzzles, Peter Pan send a letter in a bottle and quizzes, The Jungle Book fingerspelling alphabet and word search, create your own BSL, fun fact files, Little Red Riding Hood-related inspiration for creating care packages for loved ones and Goldilocks recycling craft activities.

Digital workshops include: Theatremakers Mega Zoom, well-being sessions and advice for regional artists, Getting Your Play Down ‘Right’ with local playwright Simon Marshall and Devising from a Distance with Ditto Theatre Company. As part of this section, the theatre has also shared what its cultural partners in the city are offering, including QUAD online activities, Déda artist surgeries and online exchange and Sinfonia ViVA’s A Little Live Music.

Streams and Webcasts includes: a livestream of Crongton Knights, a Pilot Theatre and Derby Theatre production in association with Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and York Theatre Royal; Original Theatre’s The Croft starring Gwen Taylor, National Theatre at Home content and streams, What the Butler Saw at Curve, Leicester livestream, Official London Theatre content and posts plus Whatsonstage streams round-up and delivery.
