Ruby Wax helps wildlife organisation select prize draw winners
Actress, comedian, writer, television presenter, and mental health campaigner Ruby Wax OBE joined Anna-Louise Pickering, President of the Pollyanna Pickering Foundation to select the lucky winners of their recent prize draw.

Mr E. Wylde of Oswestry has won a hand embellished picture of a tiger.
Established in by the late Derbyshire Wildlife Artist Pollyanna Pickering the Foundation is a small but effective non-profit organisation which campaigns internationally to prevent the exploitation of wildlife and raises funds to support animal welfare and conservation projects worldwide. Sales of Prize Draw tickets contributed to funds raised to relocate four Serval cats following the destruction of their home caused by wild fires in South Africa.
From the Royal Shakespeare Company to primetime TV Ruby Wax has had an incredibly successful and varied career.
However Ruby also has a great love for wildlife and conservation causes, and serves as a long-standing Ambassador for Tusk, a wildlife conservation charity protecting African species. She even has a white rhino named in her honour!
Pollyanna also had a long association with Tusk and was a guest at many of their special events. Her artwork has been auctioned to raise funds for their projects – and has also featured in two books published by the organisation. Ruby is also a great admirer of Pollyanna’s paintings and she was delighted to take time out of her busy schedule to select the winning ticket in the prize draw.
