Belper resident and sausage lover, Joshua Grimshaw, was delighted to discover his innovative mix of Hartington blue cheese, honey, caramelised onion chutney, mustard, sage and paprika had been selected and said, “My grandfather was a butcher and won recognition for his sausages too – perhaps it’s a family trait!”

At £11.50 per kilo, Belper’s anniversary Struttybanger is set to make history as the town’s signature sausage for now and long into the future.
