The Stranglers reschedule Sheffield and Nottingham shows

Legendary band The Stranglers have postponed this autumn’s tour, including dates in Sheffield and Nottingham, due to the current restrictions on live performances.

The group’s final full UK tour will now head to Sheffield City Hall on April 22, 2021, and to Nottingham Rock City on April 27.

Ruts DC will be the support band for the run of shows.

The Stranglers have dedicated this tour to the memory of their keyboard player Dave Greenfield who died in May.

Dave wrote The Stranglers’ biggest hit, Golden Brown, which reached number two in the UK singles charts in 1979.

Tickets already bought for the original dates – Sheffield on October 30 and Nottingham on November 3 – remain valid.
