North Derbyshire Radio is delighted to announce that we have joined forces with former BBC Radio Derby presenter Sally Pepper, to add her new podcast to our schedule.

The “Truly Madly Derby” Podcast is an hour of celebrating everything about Derby & Derbyshire and will be on every Friday from 6pm starting on the 11th October. It will feature news, views, events and special guests all celebrating where we live.

Sally has a huge following and was one of the most popular presenters on BBC Radio Derby before the recent reorganisation of local services and this podcast will see her return to the airwaves in her native Derbyshire speaking to her audience once again.

Station Director Naz Premji said: “North Derbyshire Radio is all about celebrating the wonderful area we serve and we are delighted to be the new home for this new podcast and for Sally Pepper, who is one of the most recognisable and respected radio presenters and is a friend to many who tuned into her shows on the BBC – We are hopefully bringing those good times back”

Speaking about the move, Sally said: ”I am over the moon that North Derbyshire Radio has given me this extra platform for this podcast. It has been an ambition of mine to return to the airwaves but with the right show. I want Truly Madly Derby to be a positive place for everyone to enjoy and help celebrate and shout about how great Derby and Derbyshire is. I hope my old audience and new listeners will join me every week and together we can bring the pride back.”
