Mayor rocks up to Queen tribute concert in Chesterfield’s showpiece park
Chesterfield’s mayor had a champion night out when she attended a Queen tribute concert in the town’s showpiece park.
Councillor Glenys Falconer and her consort Councillor Keith Falconer rocked and rolled with fellow Queen fans.
She said: “Despite the adverse weather conditions, it was great to see Queen fans singing and dancing along to an outstanding performance. It was brilliant to see followers of all ages having a great time in our historic Queen’s Park.”
The mayor has thanked everyone who contributed to the memorable night including the concert’s sponsors Derbyshire Cricket Limited, the venue hosts Chesterfield Borough Council and the West End performers who entertained the crowd.
