Denton’s chances of game time became slim following the signings of Joel Taylor and Alex Whittle, who both play in his position.

He joins striker Alex Kiwomya at the National League club, who also left the Spireites last month.

Denton said: “King’s Lynn are an ambitious club and one I’m looking forward to getting stuck in with. The style of football at King’s Lynn is very attractive and I cannot wait to get going.”

Director of football, Rob Back said: “We are delighted to sign Tyler, a player that will bring a lot to the club. Having played alongside Kiwomya at Chesterfield, we see this as a natural fit for the squad.”
