Chesterfield got off to a winning start at Aldershot last weekend and they will be aiming for three more points on home turf this afternoon.

The Stones took four points off the Blues in the last campaign but they lost their opening game at home to Woking.

Our reporter Liam Norcliffe is at the Technique Stadium and will have all the build-up, team news, updates and reaction.

Liam’s pre-match thoughts

Now then.

It’s Saturday, Town are at home and the sun is (expected) to be out - it feels good, right?

So many have you waited a long time to return to the Technique and finally the day has arrived. Yes, we got a taster against Dagenham at the end of last season but this time there’s no social distancing and no masks (although you can still wear one if you want to).

I can’t see anything other than a Spireites win and if they can take six points over this bank holiday weekend then it will have been a tremendous start to the season.

But, like James Rowe said yesterday in his pre-match press conference, it is important they don’t get carried away and just focus on Wealdstone first before thinking about King’s Lynn.

And let’s not forget that the Stones held Chesterfield to a 0-0 draw at the Technique not that long ago so they should not be underestimated.

However, with the fans behind them, a good win last week and plenty of attacking talent, I think Rowe’s men will have enough to take all three points today so I’m going for a 2-0 home win.

Chesterfield: 2/7

Wealdstone: 15/2

Draw: 4/1
