Recap: Chesterfield finish pre-season with win against Grimsby Town
Spireites fans could get their first look at new signing Kabongo Tshimanga, who signed from Boreham Wood on Tuesday, for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.
Grimsby, managed by Paul Hurst, were relegated from League Two last season.

Mandeville looked to be crowded out on the edge of the box, he found Danny Rowe whose scooped pass in the air found Mandy again who poked it home from six yards. 20 minutes gone and the Spireites lead 2-0.
