Reds manager Nicky Law will be looking for his side to bounce back from a disappointing display and result, after having their four-game unbeaten run ended in a 1-0 reverse at fellow strugglers Dover Athletic on Saturday.

The good news is that there are no new injury worries for the Reds boss and no suspensions to contend with.

However, another tough game is in prospect as the Yorkshire side arrive sat in second place in the table, four points behind leaders Barnet, and having lost just twice in their opening 12 league games.

Honours finished even last season with Alfreton winning 3-0 at the Impact Arena on Saturday, November 2 and Halifax winning the return fixture at The Shay 2-0 in front of the live TV cameras on March 24 this year.

How times have changed though and Alfreton now have just four players left from the squad of 16 that lined up against the Shaymen ten months ago.
