Sam Curtis gave the Spireites the lead on 16 minutes when Liam Mandeville’s corner was flicked on by Sil Swinkels and the on-loan Sheffield United man finished from close-range at the back post.
Town had other chances to extend their lead, while also never looking in any real danger, and they secured the victory to stretch their unbeaten run to five and move back into the play-offs.
Here are our player ratings from the game...

1. Zach Hemming 7
Got down low at his near post to parry away from Hale early on. Dealt well with corners and balls into the box - apart from one scary moment in the latter stages. Photo: Leila Coker

2. Sam Curtis 8
Put Town ahead on 16 minutes when he finished from close-range from a corner, his second goal for the club since joining on loan last month. Another fully committed defensive performance. He's a bit of a throwback in terms of the modern full-back - he loves a tackle. Photo: Brian Eyre

3. Chey Dunkley 7
It wasn't pretty but he did everything to win first contacts in the air and scrapped away. Put his body on the line with tackles and blocks. Made some key interventions. It was his type of game. Photo: Brian Eyre

4. Sil Swinkels7
Got the assist for the opener, flicking on Mandeville's corner at the near post. Produced a well-timed tackle to deny Dack in what was a rare attack from open play from the visitors. Didn't do much wrong at all. Photo: Tina Jenner
