The 53-year-old, who played for the club during the 1990s, rejoined in November to assist in setting up a recruitment strategy alongside new chief scout Paul Lemon.

Hide AdTurnbull brought ‘valuable knowledge’ during the search for a new manager, chairman Mike Goodwin said, and he was on the interview panel alongside Blues favourite Kevin Davies.
"He has gone on to greater things and I'd just like to put on record my thanks for what he'd done over the last six weeks to hep us get our recruitment policy up and running and also for his efforts during the appointment of James,” Mr Goodwin said on the club’s official podcast, We Are Sailing.
Turnbull scored 29 goals in 95 league appearances for the Spireites and has also had scouting roles at Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United and Oldham Athletic.
