Following the signing of free agent Grant Smith, 27, on Wednesday, Town have also brought in Przybek, 20, until the end of the season.

The youngster, who started his career at West Brom, is a Wales under-21 international.

He has recently been on loan at Braintree Town and Concord Rangers.

He has made one appearance for the League One club so far, helping a young Blues side to a penalty shoot-out victory at Peterborough in last season's EFL Trophy.

Przybek joined Ipswich in 2019 after being released by the Baggies.

With goalkeepers Kyle Letheren, Luke Coddington, Dylan Wharton, Smith and Przybek in the squad, it looks like the Spireites are close to shipping one out.

Wharton started Wednesday night’s FA Trophy win against Boston United and was the hero in the penalty shootout, while Coddington is working his way back from injury.
