The Spireites have not officially confirmed his signing yet, but Tamworth announced his loan arrival last night saying: “James (Jim) Kellermann has joined the Lambs from Chesterfield on an initial 28 days loan.”

Speaking after Saturday’s win against Grimsby, Blues boss James Rowe confirmed Kellermann, 25, would be signing and would then join Tamworth on loan.

“He has lost his way through injury unfortunately but he is still a good age.

“He needs to go out on loan and play games and then we will see the best out of him.

“He is going to go on loan to Tamworth and he is going to train here and then, at the right time, he will have an impact.”

Kellermann has featured in a number of pre-season matches for Chesterfield, playing in midfield and defence.

He came through the Wolves academy having joined aged 14.

Aftter seven years he then signed for Aldershot, where Rowe was assistant manager.

Kellermann helped the Shots reach the National League play-offs twice before his form earned him a move to Scottish Premiership club St Mirren.

Unfortunately Kellermann's time at St Mirren never really worked out for him as he made just seven appearances for the club, with a loan spell at AFC Fylde in-between.

He spent last season at Kidderminster Harriers.
