It was in the Junior section that the action took place and Courage FC took centre stage as they pummelled Crown and Anchor, racing to a 10-1 victory. Courage dominated from start to finish as Joel Atack and Alex Hancock helped themselves to a hat trick apiece, with James Norman weighing in with two goals, Jack Roddis and Nathan Howarth one.
Staveley Town faced Mansfield Sunday League opponents in the form of Shirebrook Soldiers and brushed them aside with Callum Harrison rattling in a treble, Luke Pilgrim, George Maude and Dean Webster-Smith one each in a 6-0 win.

Hide AdPilsley Community Development took on Chesterfield Town in a more evenly matched encounter the former eventually prevailing 5-3, Danny Bush twice, Shane Marriott, Gareth Lewin and Matt Parnham hitting the winning goals.
There was even less to choose between Tibshelf Community and Alfreton Sunday League outfit Codnor Athletic with Mark Pepper scoring twice, Sam Hollett and Steve Wright once to cancel out Ed Fedin and Connor Hardy’s two goals to send the HKL League side through to the next round.
Badger eased into the next round, beating Courage Development 6-2. Two Danny Mason goals together with strikes from Adam Fern and Jordan Spencer earned Gasoline 4-1 win over West Hallam Juniors to move them into the next round.
They will be joined by Shinnon who beat Hasland Community, Badger who beat Courage Development 6-2 and Spartans Reserves who beat Whitwell in a close game 2-1 and Rose and Crown, narrow 4-3 winners over Stanton Ilkeston Colts however Woodthorpe’s interest in the competition ended as they were beaten 8-0 by FC Glossop. In the Sheffield and Hallamshire Cup Brampton Rovers beat Shakespeare 9-1.

Hide AdIn the league in HKL ONE in the only game played Barrel beat Butchers Arms 6-3 with Curtis Birchall and Will Whitehead both scoring twice, Sam Devereux and Ollie Swale once.
In HKL TWO early season pacemakers Hollingwood Athletic slumped to their first reverse of the season, losing 6-2 to Brampton Moor Rovers for whom Cameron Dovison scored a couple, Steve Brown, Callum Dovison and James Keenan one.
Eyam also lost for the first time going down 3-2 at Hasland Club, Matt Bower, Joe Oakley and Jordan White with the winning goals. Jake Monaghan was the star player in TWO hitting four of his Brampton Victoria sides goals in a 6-4 win over Clay Cross Utd, Ollie Dawson and Ryan Boler with the other goals.
Just one game in HKL THREE and Duke won it, beating Creswell Barnett 4-1, Jordan Hendley twice, Luke James and Luke Knightley scoring the winning goals
