Police close Peak District road after crash

Police have closed the A57 Mottram Moor road in both directions following a road collision.

There are reports of queueing traffic from A628 Market Street (Gun Inn traffic lights, Hollingworth) to Stalybridge Road (Mottram in Longdendale).

There is no access westbound on the A57 from this point and the road will remain closed until further notice.

Police are carrying out accident investigation work at the site
