Lanes partially closed on M1 near Chesterfield following collision

Highways England have temporarily closed two lanes on the M1 northbound at Tibshelf Services to junction 29, near to the A617 in Chesterfield following a collision.

Traffic officers are currently at the scene dealing with the aftermath of the crash and congestion is building on the approach close to Chesterfield

Highways England tweeted: “The #M1 northbound #TibshelfServices (#Tibshelf) to #J29 (#A617 #Chesterfield) 2 lanes have been closed due to a collision.
