This was the scene after a car hurtled off a Peak District road and landed on its roof.

Amazingly, police said nobody was injured in the crash, which happened just off Winnats Pass in Hope Valley on the evening of Sunday, September 27.

Derbyshire Constabulary’s High Peak response team said it had received numerous reports of cars driving dangerously in the region, though it was not known if this was one of them.

A thermal drone was used to check nobody had been thrown from the vehicle.
