All lanes now reopen on M1 in Derbyshire after crash cleared

There were delays on the M1 southbound through Derbyshire this morning after a crash.

Highways England said a lane was closed between junction 29 for Chesterfield, Mansfield and Matlock, and junction 28 for the A38, Alfreton and Derby, after a collision.

Traffic officers and emergency services were called to deal with the incident as congestion built up, and Highways England tweeted to say all lanes had reopened
